Application products use WHMCS product pricing. The application wizard can help fill billing cycles and currencies, but the saved values become real customer prices. Review each enabled currency and cycle before making the product visible.

01 Enter the base pricing
- Open the application's product wizard or current plan settings and go to Pricing.
- Choose the billing cycles you intend to sell. Available cycle choices include monthly, quarterly, semiannual, annual, biennial and triennial periods.
- Enter the recurring amount and any setup fee for the intended currency. Check whether the product is taxable and whether its displayed description accurately explains the charging period.
- If using a fill-cycles helper, inspect every calculated cycle. Decide whether longer commitments should be proportional or have a deliberate discount.
- If using Fill other currencies, check the WHMCS currency rates and then inspect the generated amounts and rounding.
- Save the plan and verify the order form and a test invoice in the currencies you support.
02 Understand automatic currency filling
The module uses saved WHMCS exchange rates for its supported currency-filling workflow. Relevant updates can occur when creating or saving the plan and through cron processing. Stale exchange rates can therefore produce commercially unsuitable prices even when the calculation itself succeeds.
If you turn automatic filling off, the last saved prices remain. Disabling the option does not remove those currencies or restore earlier amounts. Review the values directly when moving to manually maintained international pricing.
Does changing an application plan price update existing services?
A product's catalogue price and an existing customer's stored recurring service amount are different records. Do not assume editing the application product retrospectively changes every existing agreement. Review any existing-service repricing through the appropriate billing workflow and communicate changes under your own customer terms.
Hosting Suite's optional renewal pricing engine has its own rules and compatibility requirements. If that engine manages the product, test a renewal quote as well as a new order. In the supplied release, renewal accounting is restricted to WHMCS 8.
03 Common pricing checks
If a cycle is absent at checkout, confirm it is enabled and has a valid price for the selected currency. If the invoice amount differs from an advertised figure, review tax, setup fees, options and the selected billing period before changing the base price. If converted prices drift unexpectedly, inspect saved exchange rates and whether automatic filling remains enabled.
Keep a dated record of approved prices and the currencies tested. This helps distinguish a deliberate price revision from an exchange-rate or configuration error.
