Connect Webuzo admin and end-user services to Hosting Suite

hosting-suite, resellers

Webuzo has separate administrator and end-user interfaces. Hosting Suite uses the saved server credential to inspect a hosting user and carry out supported end-user operations. Configure both connection contexts correctly before testing customer features.

01 Prepare Webuzo access

In Webuzo's administrator panel, open Settings > API Keys and create a dedicated key for the identity that manages your hosting users. If you restrict the key by source IP, use the WHMCS server's outbound address. Webuzo also supports appropriate administrator or reseller login credentials, but a separately managed API credential is easier to rotate.

Save the credential in WHMCS > System Settings > Servers. Use the server's valid HTTPS hostname and actual administrator port, normally 2005. The end-user HTTPS port is configured separately in the suite profile and commonly uses 2003.

02 Configure the suite

  1. Enable Webuzo under Workspace > Suite settings > Hosting platforms.
  2. Open Account Manager > Hosting platforms and choose the server's Connection profile.
  3. Select Webuzo and the credential-reading mode matching the WHMCS server fields.
  4. Set Webuzo end-user port to the port your installation actually uses, then save.
  5. Check the WHMCS test service's server, Webuzo username and main domain. Use Existing accounts > Verify and link.
  6. Open the workspace and check common lists before enabling a controlled account change.

03 Choose product capabilities

Webuzo participates in the shared hosting tools for domains, subdomains, aliases, mailboxes, databases, FTP, password, resource information and eligible sign-ins. PHP and SSL visibility do not imply every corresponding cPanel management screen is available.

The regular hosting installer uses Webuzo's own application capabilities. The suite's contract includes installation and supported backup, upgrade, restore and removal actions. The catalogue and installed server components still decide what is available. The separate Create application product wizard currently targets cPanel servers, so do not treat these two workflows as interchangeable.

How do I investigate a Webuzo connection error?

If account verification succeeds but customer tools fail, check whether the end-user port is reachable and whether the saved identity can act for that user. If an API call is refused, review the API key, source-address restriction and user ownership. An administrator-panel login alone does not prove every end-user operation will succeed.

After any credential or profile change, reverify the affected service. Refresh uncertain changes before repeating them. Keep API keys out of screenshots, tickets and browser address bars.
